    Biography

Guilherme Terreri Lima Pereira, better known by his stage name Rita von Hunty, is a Brazilian teacher, actor, YouTuber, comedian, speaker and drag queen. In December 2021, adding all her networks, Rita reached almost 2 million followers. Graduated in Performing Arts at UNIRIO, and in Literature at USP, he worked as an actor for a few years before having to move to São Paulo. In September 2011, after being diagnosed with cancer, Guilherme's mother had to move to São Paulo in search of treatment. In 2012, after the death of his mother, he decided to stay in São Paulo to dedicate himself to the theater. In 2013, during Carnival, he decided to give vent to his artistic streak by going to a party, dressed as Rita von Hunty. There he received an invitation to work for a company, starting his drag character Rita von Hunty. In 2015, he performed at the biggest drag party in São Paulo and on RecordTV's Xuxa Meneghel program. Rita von Hunty is a persona of Guilherme. It was created to break stereotypes about drag queens, such as being a caricature of the feminine or superficial. Her name comes from Rita Hayworth, famous American actress of the 1940s. "Hunty" is a slang term from the drag community to show affection or care and "von" refers to royalty.
