Storyline
Ruth and Harry decide to take a romantic backpacking trip through the Pacific Northwest, but amongst the beautiful scenery, Ruth makes an unexpected discovery that sets her off on a strange, frightening new path. The couple aren't alone in the woods, and they might not be the same when they come out...if they come out.

_Significant Other_is a very unique thriller that has a lot more depth than it initially presents. Performances are pretty good around the board and the story takes twists that keep the viewer on their toes. I enjoyed it and has been one of the better Paramount+ exclusive films. Sometimes the movie tries to hit you over the head at the themes it is attempting to present and that dragged the experience down for me a bit.
